LJTC signed an agreement with the Danish Agency for international Education for a three-year project “Development and Introduction of a Long-Term Training Strategy for Latvian Prosecutors”

On 1 October 2011, the LJTC signed an agreement with the Danish Agency for international Education for a three-year project “Development and Introduction of a Long-Term Training Strategy for Latvian Prosecutors”, currently implemented within the parameters of the Nordic countries’ Nordplus programme. The project is being implemented in collaboration with the prosecutor-generals' offices of Denmark and Sweden.

The activities of this project include:

  • An introduction to the work of prosecutors and the provision of further education/training systems in Denmark and Sweden;
  • Six national and six international seminars with the participation of Swedish and Danish prosecutors;
  • Development of a long-term strategy for the training of prosecutors;
  • E-handbook on training methodologies;
  • Closing conference.

Project conclusion term: 1 October 2014.
